Poem: What I'd like to be

 

Ambition 

I'd like to be earth bound

But let my mind sail around,

where the oxygen is getting thin,

cruising at a level of abstraction

with a sense of passion and perception,

searching for the truth yet to be seen.

I'd like to stretch my helping hands to all who care,

but certainly without motive unfair

Oh no ! it's not the kind of weakness that devils imagine,

rather self dictum , fighting devilish self within.

I'd like to live like a simple human being, 

But with the dignity of a magnanimous king.

And a courage of an untiring patriotic general

leading his army till a memorable farewell.
