একটা চিঠি

                প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ একত্রতার পঞ্চাশ বছর

কালের স্রোতে সময়ের দাম চুকিয়েছি। ছবিগুলো দেখেই বুঝতে পারছ, এই ৫০ বছরে শারিরীক পরিবর্তন কতটা ঘটে গেছে। ভাঙা-চোরা চেহারায় বিধ্বস্ত। তবে আন্তরিক বন্ধন এখনও অটুট আছে। গত ৩/৪ দিন ভীষণ তাড়াহুড়োর মধ্যে কাটাতে হচ্ছে বলে দু'দিন আগেই পোস্ট করলাম। দিনটা ৭ই মার্চ,  সেটা আমার মনে আছে।

এক-দু'দিনের মধ্যেই, হয়তো তুমি যা ভাবছো, তার আগেই তোমাকে একটা চিঠি লিখব। ৭ই মার্চ দিনটাকে স্মরণ করে আমাদের জীবনের কিছু কিছু মাইলফলক ঘটনা স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতে, যেগুলো আমাদের এই দীর্ঘ পঞ্চাশ বছরের বিবাহিত জীবনের ইতিহাসে খোদাই হয়ে থাকবে। Please একটু অপেক্ষা কর। 

Fifty years of togetherness

Time has really taken its toll and gradual transformation took place in terms of health for both of us. Now we look rather battered. But one thing is for sure that the bonding remains intact. Perhaps you're aware that I'm so much rushed up with time right now. So I post these photos two days in advance. The D-DAY falls on March 7, right !!. Very soon I'm going to write you a letter, may be, sooner than you think, to commemorate 7th March, just to remind you some of the milestone events that we encountered during these 50 years of conjugal bonding, that will ever remain etched in our mind. Please just wait for that suspense moment.
